Mandela Museum
The Mandela House Museum in Johannesburg is where Nelson Mandela lived before he was arrested. It’s a small, red-brick house full of history, with photos, personal items, and old furniture. The museum shows how Mandela fought for freedom and tells the story of South Africa during the apartheid era. It’s a special place to learn about his life and legacy.
HECTOR PIETERSON MUESUM
The Hector Pieterson Museum in Soweto honors a 12-year-old boy, Hector Pieterson, who became a symbol of the fight against apartheid in South Africa. He was sadly killed during a student protest in 1976. The museum tells the story of that protest, showing photos, videos, and objects from the time. It helps people understand how brave kids like Hector stood up for their rights, and how important that day was in South African history.
APARTHIED MUESUM
The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg shows what life was like in South Africa when black and white people were treated unfairly under apartheid. It uses pictures, videos, and stories to explain how people fought for equality and how Nelson Mandela helped bring freedom to the country. It’s a place to learn about South Africa’s history and how people stood up for what was right.
